PD7 Series

Easy to use digital portable radio with ergonomic design.

The PD7 Series is built to the DMR Standard and is rich in features
for both voice and data communication. The design is approved
to rigorous IP67 and MIL-STD 810 testing. The Hytera-patented
pseudo-trunking maximizes channel usage. Key features such
as vibration, a dedicated emergency button, and the large
color display make this an ideal solution for mission critical
communications. The PD7 Series also comes with an optional GPS
chip that allows the radio to integrate with Hytera SmartDispatch
or other 3rd party GPS dispatching software.

Superior Audio
With the combined application of narrowband codec and digital error-correction technologies,  the PD7 Series is capable of ensuring you superior audio under noise environments or at the edge of the coverage area.

Dual mode
The PD7 series features an analog as well as a digital mode and is compatible with the currently used analog systems, thereby simplifying your transition into the digital age.

Improved use of the radio spectrum
Thanks to the TDMA process, the PD7 Series allows twice the channels based on the same spectrum resource. This is a huge relief due to the increasing shortages in spectrum resources.

Secure Communication
Besides the intrinsic encryption of the digital technology, PD7 Series provides enhanced encryption capability (such as 256-bit encryption algorithm) and the Scrambler feature (selectable).

Reliability and quality
The PD7 Series complies with the standards MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F and meets the IP57 degree of protection. A high degree of reliability is assured even in extreme environments.

Versatile functionality
Besides the traditional communication functions, the PD7 Series supports various voice call types, including Private Call, Group Call, All Call and Emergency Call.

Upgradeable software
Upgradeable software enables new features without buying a new radio; The PD7 Series can also be switched into DMR trunking modes with corresponding trunking license applied in the same hardware.
